What? Two posts in one day? My stars. Yes. I’m a Southern Belle. No I’m
not, I’m a dork. Anyway.
Like three weeks ago-ish, I decided to participate in the Dewey’s 24-hour read-a-thon, because of reasons. Then my library decided to have a
library sale on the same day as the read-a-thon, April 25th. And I have no self control so
I’m gonna go to that. And then meeting some friends after. So my read-a-thon
won’t be as impressive, but hey, it’ll be a bit chill.
The 24-hour read-a-thon happens twice a year, once in April and once in
October. The idea is to read as much as you can in 24 hours. I won’t be able to
read as much as I wanted, as mentioned. The read-a-thon starts at the same time
all over the world, so here it starts at 2 pm on Saturday and ends at 2 pm on
Sunday.
So TBR?
I don’t really have a TBR. Well that’s not true. I don’t have like a
dedicated TBR. I’m only going to try desperately to finish the books I’ve been
a lazy bitch and not read so far.
The books I have still to read this month is:
- Agnes Grey by Anne Brontë, which I’m over half-way
through.
- Volume 1 of the Way of Kings by Brandon Sanderson,
which I’ve also started.
- Volume 2 of the Way of Kings by Brandon Sanderson,
which I obviously haven’t started yet. Not that you thought that, but I felt
like I had to write something.
- Innsirkling 2 by Carl Frode Tiller, which I’ve also
started, because I have no loyalty. I just bounce from book to book. Lots at
the same time. I’m a book flirt. This is either a blog post, or the nervous
breakdown of a 27-year-old. That’s my sweet spot.
I’m going to town tomorrow, because of the library sale, and I might
step by the comic book store and buy a graphic novel in case I need something
different. Something not a normal book. Although I have a whole shelf of comics
at home, but why would I read one of those?
